TriMetiquette – TriMet Riding Etiquette – Launches New Website

Portland, Oregon, December 10, 2008 – TriMetiquette – a Portland Public Transportation news blog covering topics about TriMet riding etiquette – has relaunched their website. The new website features tips on public transportation riding etiquette as well as personal stories about riding public transportation.

“The first six months writing for TriMetiquette has been very fun and rewarding,” Christian Bullock, Managing Editor of TriMetiquette stated. “We wanted to enhance the site user experience by having information be displayed in a more readable manner and making the overall website more effective.” The TriMetiquette website launched on April 3rd and has seen tremendous visitor growth since launch, now averaging over 150 views per day. “The steady trend of visitor growth is encouraging and I can predict numbers will only go up as more people start riding public transportation,” Bullock added.

The new TriMetiquette website also offers several new attractive advertisement spots for Portland local or national companies to advertise. These advertising opportunities range from simple 100 x 100 images to sponsored blog posts. “As much as I would like to spend every waking moment on TriMetiquette,” Bullock said, “it is not my full-time job. But adding the ability to advertise on the site gives me a way to potentially earn some revenue for fare as well as giving the opportunity for local companies and particularily companies on bus or MAX lines to advertise on a site that’s primarily targeted for public transportation riders.”

For additional information on TriMetiquette’s new website launch or advertising opportunities, contact Christian Bullock at TriMetiquette@gmail.com or visit www.trimetiquette.com. TriMetiquette.com is not sponsored, approved or endorsed by Trimet.org or the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District.
